HSH service: Xian House launch clean water charity event

Kindness and responsibility are key Huili values. In order to put our values into practice we will lead pupils in the role of global citizenship. Xian House of Huili Primary School launches the " Source of Life-Water” charity event from this week. This event aims to help children learn more about water resources, strengthen water conservation concepts, and cultivate good water use habits. 

During assembly time this Friday, we invited the Tang Mama Charity Centre, who introduced their Clean Water project. Through live demonstrations on stage, pupils have learnt about the water purification principle of the "Little Yellow Bucket" and how these Lifesaver jerrycans help children in remote areas of China drink healthy and pure water. 

In the coming week, we encourage all pupils to participate in this charity event. Pupils can record their water-saving behaviours in their daily life into short videos, including actions like "bring your own bottle," multiple uses of water, etc. Families from Huili  community will also join this extraordinary charity event with donations to help the Tang Mama Charity Centre deliver more "little yellow buckets" to children in need of water.
