Deputy District Mayor, Yang Xincheng paid a visit to Hiba Academy Hangzhou and Wellington College International Hangzhou on 15 February. She was accompanied by responsible personnel from the district education bureau, district government office, Science and Technology Polis, Ningwei subdistrict office, and Qianjiang education guidance centre. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Kathryn Richardson, Master of Wellington College Hangzhou, and Ivey Wang, Principal of Hiba Academy Hangzhou.
The team visited Hiba Academy Hangzhou’s Party building office, school culture corridor and toured other areas of the campus. They learnt about the Party building work, school history, educational ethos, curriculum, academic team development, and daily operations; such as management of the school bus service. They encouraged the school to continue to strengthen parent-school communications, academic support and pastoral care for pupils. Also to engage in cross-school interaction and communication to build a world-class bilingual education brand.
With the start of the new semester, Hiba Academy Hangzhou, as a member of Wellington College Hangzhou, continues to cultivate talent through virtue, kindness and integrity whilst implementing the ideal of a quality bilingual education. It is our vision to create a caring bilingual community that develops well-rounded individuals with strong values and the skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.
